WaffenSS flatwire Regiment Deutschland cuff title
Very nice WaffenSS cuff title of regiment 3 “Deutschand” which saw action in “1940” in Holland at the “Grebben Berg” in combat against the Dutch Infantrie regiment “8” and saw action in Belgium and France as part of the 2 SS Panzer Division “Das Reich” which saw action in Balkan and the Soviet Union at Moskou where they had heavy losses. After a break and recovery in “1942” they went back to the Soviet Union in “1943” and took part in the action at Charkow and Koersk. In “1944” they saw combat in Normandy where the where involved in the terrible war crime massacre at “Oradour-sur-Glane” and in “Tulle”. Overal a very nice so-called “Flatwire” cuff title in very good condition. Great for a cuff title collector or to complete a tunic!!!
