Born “1897” started in a “Bau Kompanie” (3. Baukp.256) and promoted too OberFeldwebel (highest rank reached) abd served late war in “Bau Pionier Battalion 508” altough an older soldier, Günther saw a lot of action in Russia and Ukraine received Iron Cross second class “1939” and Wound badge in black, Wound badge in silver and War Merrits Cross “1939” with swords, Easternfront medal and a medal which is hard to read!
Gustav saw action in Belgium, France, Russia and Ukraine (Kaukasus, Kuban, Bjelgorod, Kursk, Dnjepr, Charkow and Kiew-Shitomir) Gustav died in May 25, 1944, probably because combat wounds
So very interesting early type Wehrmacht Wehrpass from a older Wehrmacht soldier
